KICKSTART YOUR CAREER

Highlander are Scotland’s largest independent paper recycling company and we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for generating sales, dealing with incoming enquiries, and administrative tasks to support the field sales team. This will be primarily phone and office based, with some face to face sales as part of team days out on the field.

 

An effective sales administrator must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and objections.

 

The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about our services

​

  • Answer questions about the service options

​

  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and establish their needs

​

  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed

​

  • Enter and update customer information in the relevant database/CRM system

​

  • Process any sales in an accurate manner

​

  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

​

  • Provide administrative support to the field sales team

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience as a sales administrative including telesales representative or other sales/customer service role

 

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales objectives

 

  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems

 

  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

 

  • Excellent knowledge of English

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

 

  • In addition we are looking for someone with a positive, ambitious attitude, who is trustworthy, dedicated, and loyal.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year depending on experience.
